Canon Victor Darlington is the Chair of the Caritas Southwark Advisory Board. He has a long history of community-focused work in South London where, as a Parish Priest, he led anti-gang initiatives as well as efforts to reduce serious youth violence.
Canon Victor also acts as Episcopal Vicar of the Commission for Promoting Racial and Cultural Inclusion in the Archdiocese, reflecting his commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and social justice within the Church and the broader community.
John, formerly the Director of Caritas Westminster, now works as the Head of Caritas Southwark, overseeing its growth and development.
John has a background in probation and social care, and he has held key leadership roles over the years. This experience has given him a deep understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable individuals and communities, as well as the strategies and interventions that can make a difference.
