Over the coming months, we’ll be coming together with the Commission for Promoting Racial and Cultural Inclusion and the Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation Commission under one new name: Caritas Southwark: Action, Justice, Race and Creation.
By joining forces, we’ll be able to work more closely with parishes and schools, offering a single, clearer point of contact for anyone involved in social action, outreach or advocacy. The new structure will also mean stronger communication, shared resources and a more joined-up way of supporting local projects across the Archdiocese.
Our commitment to racial inclusion, justice and peace and care for creation remains the same — each Commission’s unique strengths and history will continue to shape our work going forward.
